| The SCI-voc list exists to provide a forum for discussion of the idea of "vocation," both as it has been traditionally understood and as it is being innovatively conceived, through the workings of the Holy Spirit in today's Church. Anyone who thinks deeply about such issues, whether because of his/her own interior sense of call or work within the Church or, perhaps, simply because s/he is vitally concerned about the current state of apparent crisis in religious and priestly vocations -- all such are welcome to ask questions here, and test out ideas and theories. If God is working in your own life's experience in new ways, vocationally, we'd like to hear about it here. |
